The Division of Clinical Biochemistry & Immunology provides qualitative and quantitative analysis of biological fluids such as blood, serum or plasma, urine and body fluids with advanced, fully automated analyzers.
Department of Biochemistry and Immunology
Daily execution of multi-level controls (e.g., Bio-Rad quality control programs) for all biochemistry panels, electrolytes, HbA1c, and chemiluminescent immunoassays to monitor precision and stability. Application of Westgard rules for statistical quality control evaluation.
Regular participation in inter-laboratory comparison programs to validate trueness and benchmark analytical performance against global peer groups. We participate in CMC EQAS and Biorad EQAS for different programs monthly.
